Preheat your oven to 175 °C / 350 °F
Melt the butter in a pan. Add the sugar, maple syrup and almond flour. Stir continuously and boil until thickened. This will take about 30 seconds to 1 minute. Once thickened, remove from the heat.
Add the oats and stir until combined. Set a side to cool.
Cut the apples into half and remove the core. top the apple with the filling, about 1 tbsp for each apple. Spread it out so it covers the apple.
Bake in the oven for 30 minutes, or until the apple is soft (read notes). If the topping browns too much, cover it with foil.
Once cooked, serve with greek yogurt or vanilla ice cream. Enjoy straight away!
