Healthy Toffee Apples! Perfect for Bonfire night!

  • 7 dates stone removed
  • 3 tbsp almond butter
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla
  • 3 small apples
  • 3 lollipop sticks or sturdy wooden sticks.
  • Desiccated coconut optional


  • Place dates, almond butter and 1 tablespoon water in a food processor. Blend until smooth and there's no bits of dates left. If the mixture is too thick, add a little bit more water. You want the mixture to be thick, but loose enough so it's spreadable.
  • Take your apples and place a lollipop stick in each of them.
  • To spread the mixture, hold the stick and spread it around the apple.
  • Roll the apples in desiccated coconut (optional)
  • Place the apples on a plate with greaseproof paper and keep in the fridge.
