Healthy Toffee Apples
Healthy Toffee Apples! Perfect for Bonfire night!
- 7 dates stone removed
- 3 tbsp almond butter
- 2 tbsp water
- 0.5 tsp vanilla
- 3 small apples
- 3 lollipop sticks or sturdy wooden sticks.
- Desiccated coconut optional
Place dates, almond butter and 1 tablespoon water in a food processor. Blend until smooth and there's no bits of dates left. If the mixture is too thick, add a little bit more water. You want the mixture to be thick, but loose enough so it's spreadable.
Take your apples and place a lollipop stick in each of them.
To spread the mixture, hold the stick and spread it around the apple.
Roll the apples in desiccated coconut (optional)
Place the apples on a plate with greaseproof paper and keep in the fridge.
