Chévre and apricot bites; the perfect combination of savoury and sweet! Great for dinner parties!
I realised I don’t have many recipes for appetisers or canapés on here. So today I’m brining you a canapé recipe, chévre and apricot bites!
These are perfect finger food for a christmas party, or any time of the year. These bites are the perfect combination of sweet and savoury that’s really satisfying. The flavours just blend together beautifully and they’re are extremely moreish.
These chévre and apricot bites are also extremely easy to make! All you need to do is to halve the apricots, slice the chévre into desired amounts. If you want to make this the night before, you can make this to this point. And before serving these all you just need to do is to sprinkle chopped rosemary, add a piece of walnuts on each bite and drizzle over some acacia honey as a finishing touch!
Done and done!
You may wonder why the apricots on the pictures are so… brown? Well, that’s because they’re sulphate free apricots. The bright orange ones that are the most common one found in the stores have been treated with sulphur dioxide, which is a preservative. If you want to use sulphate free apricots, check for organic ones as they’re almost always sulphate free! Personally I find that sulphate free ones taste better so I always go for them when available!
